The web software was recently updated. After the update, many of the previous session cookies are no longer valid which is causing an issue. Any users that have an error "too many redirects" or after logging in it sends you back to the home page, not logged in, you will need to clear your cookies. Follow the instructions below if you wish to just clear cookies for NAK Squads website.

With Chrome you can clear cookies for a single site (all cookies for naksquad.net):
http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/an ... swer=95647
  1. Click Chrome menu on browser toolbar
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Show advance settings
  4. Click Content settings in Privacy section
  5. In Cookies section, select the site that issued the cookie, then the cookie, and click Remove
With Firefox you can do the same:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/de ... ingle-site
  1. Click Firefox button or Tools menu, then click Options
  2. Select Privacy panel
  3. Set Firefox will: to “Use custom settings for history”
  4. Click Show Cookies
  5. In the search field, type the name of the site whose cookies you want to remove.
  6. Select the cookie in the list to remove and click “Remove Cookie”
  7. Click “Close”
Last for Internet Explorer which I did not try (I do not use IE):
(NOTE: I couldn’t locate an applicable Support document)
  1. Click on Tools
  2. Internet Options
  3. Under Browsing History, click Settings
  4. Click View Files
  5. Locate the cookies to delete, right click and then click Delete

Feel free to poke me on TeamSpeak or send a email to admin@naksquad.net if you have any other issues.

Unfortunately the update was one of those mandatory, were going to do it no matter what without warning. There appears to be a small issue with the username password handoff between, the website and the forum, which is part of the issue. That issue caused the cookies to become invalid but not expire.

It looks like the update took most of the plugins authors by surprise as well, as they are all rushing to update their plugins and make fixes.

Hopefully we will not see this issue again, so you should only have to clear your cookies once, however there is no negative in clearing just the naksquad.net cookies, if for some reason you have to do it again. I have been able to make the cookies become unsynced again by moving back and forth between the forum and website in an unconventional manner that most users will not have to do. Clearing my cookies again fixed the issue.

For phones I do not know if there is a way to clear individual site cookies but you can clear all cookies. Clearing all cookies should not have a negative effect, but you may have to relog into other websites. Most cookies do have an expiration effectively clearing themselves.

To clear cookies on your phone
Safari for iOS
  1. Launch the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
Chrome for iOS
  1. Launch the Chrome app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon data-cke-saved-src= | tap Settings.
  3. Tap History.
  4. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Select Cached images and files and Cookies, Site Data.
  6. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
Firefox for Android
  1. Launch the Firefox app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon | Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Clear private data.
  4. Select Cache and Cookies & active logins.
  5. Tap Clear data.
Chrome for Android
  1. Launch the Chrome app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon | tap Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Select Cached images and files and Cookies and site data.
  6. Tap Clear data.
